I've done 3 comics on the 3 short stories ,. It was a Freelancing Project.. The stories and the animal characters were given to me and I made the human characters illustrations and the comics illustrations of following stories..the name of the comics is Ellisha's World..I really love to do these comic art ..there were 5 characters, ...
Ellisha's World :
Ellisha is a 6 year old Indian girl who dreams about a world full of fun and happiness, where there is no violence, no cruelty, no wicked people- a world where everybody is nice to each other and lives happily...
The animal Characters of the stories :
- Ella - the elephant
- Isha - the bunny
- Misty - the dog
- Buddy - the macaw
- Momo - the monkey
1st Story - Introduction
The story :
It is summer, Ellisha’s school is closed for the summer
holidays. Her grandfather and grandmother are visiting from India. Both her
parents work, she usually stays home with her grandparents during the day.
Ellisha is eating at the breakfast table in the morning,
both her parents are leaving for work.
Dad:
Ellisha sweetie, I am leaving for work. Be good all day, if you need anything
call me .Bye”
Mom:
“Baby, make sure you finish your milk and cereal quickly. I will be back around
6:00. Bye, honey”
Ellisha:
“.I love you”
Ellisha:
then goes to her bedroom, lays down on the bed and picks up a book to read.
The book Ellisha is reading, has
a lot of fighting and violence.
Ellisha doesn’t like reading the book any more, she puts the
book down, stares at the ceiling. She says to herself:
Ellisha:
Why are people so mean to each other? Why do they want to hurt each other? Why
can they not be nice?
Ellisha:
I wish there was a world where everyone is happy, no cruelty, no violence. A world where
everybody helped and learned from each other.
Ellisha:
A world of joy and laughter – a world of fun.
Ellisha:
A world of Ella, Isha, Buddy, Momo and
Misty.
2nd Story - Injured deer
The story :
There is an injured deer on the road, Ella and Momo are
walking down the road and notice something lying at a distance.
Momo:
WOW !! What is that?
Ella:
Seems like an injured deer on the road.
Both of them walk towards the deer.
Ella:
What happened?
Deer: I
was shot in the leg by a human, he and a bunch of his friends were randomly
shooting my friends and family members. They were having fun with their
favorite “deer hunting” game.
Momo:
Oh, how awful and cruel !!! Do you know why they did that?
Deer:
No, they do it just for fun. They find pleasure in shooting helpless animals
with their rifles.
Ella then picks up the deer by her trunk, takes him home and
takes care of him. After a few days, the deer can walk again.
Ella:
Look how pretty you are!! You can walk, run and dance again.
Deer:
Thank you Ella, I will be forever grateful to you.
Ella:
Don’t worry, it is our social and moral responsibility to be kind and take care
of each other. I don’t understand how anyone can have fun by shooting and
killing animals in the forest.
Lesson: Be kind to everybody, even to animals.
EVERYBODY WANTS TO BE LOVED, NOT HURT.
3rd Story - Dinosour (Part- 1 )
The story :
Misty is walking on the road, then she suddenly stops and starts digging.
She digs and digs and finally finds a very large bone. An old man who was passing by stopped and asked:
Man: WOW!! That is a really big bone !!! Good job.
Misty: I have never seen a bone so big, what kind of animal is that?
Man: It is a dinosaur. They were a peculiar species, a mixture of bird and reptile, who lived 200 million years ago.
Misty: How big were they?
Man: There were a wide variety of dinosaurs, both big and small. They weighed between 100 to 1000 kilograms and were 10 to 100 ft long.
Misty: What did they eat?
Man: They ate both plants and meat. There were killer, scavenger dinosaurs as well as giant plant eater dinosaurs.
Misty: What happened to them? Where did they go?
Man: While there are many ideas, most scientists believe that a huge comet or asteroid (6 to 12 miles wide) hit the earth 65 million years ago. That destroyed most animals on earth.
In this whole work , I got a proper guidance from my teacher.. Thank to him to give me this guidance.
